31 Jul Mobiroo launches App Subscription Service on M1’s MiBox in Singapore

SINGAPORE, 31 July 2013 – Mobiroo, a Canadian mobile apps pioneer announced today that it will be bringing a new dimension to the app store experience: the first Apps Unlimited service for Android set-top boxes in Singapore. The all-new service will be delivered through M1 Limited’s (M1) new MiBox Internet TV service, and offers unlimited access to a growing selection of hundreds of premium apps and games, some priced at more than $20 on Google Play, through a MiBox all-in-one membership.

Mobiroo users get unlimited access to hundreds of top paid Android apps and games from all categories including favourite apps from developers including Team 17, Halfbrick, HeroCraft, and Gamehouse.

“M1 is a leading innovative service provider and bringing Mobiroo to the Android set-top box market will give Singapore customers access to the games and apps they love on their phones and tablets on their TV. It is also great value for money, M1 customers pay an affordable monthly fee of S$5.35, for unlimited access and unlimited downloads to hundreds of Android games and apps therefore saving thousands of dollars on their usual individual app downloads”, said Mobiroo’s President of APAC, Mr. Alan Wong.

M1 and Mobiroo are also offering an exclusive two-week free trial during the first month of the MiBox launch, from 27th July. Thereafter, customers can still get a 7-days free trial.

Mobiroo will be rolled out onto phones and tablets within the coming months.

Mobiroo is also teaming up with local developers within each of the new launch countries. Through its new partnerships, Mobiroo will give local developers the opportunity to list and commercialise their creations through Mobiroo’s dedicated developer relations program.
